...is curated by our Master Blender here at RIVSALT. This blend contains the perfect 85/15 mix of Himalayan rock salt and Java long peppers. The kitchen essentials  - a perfect mix of the grand old lady of salt and black pepper with a twist. You can’t go wrong!

The smaller grains of 2-6 mm are suitable for use in your everyday grinder or in our CRUSH mini mortar if you prefer to be hands on with your flavours. Enjoy!

The blend is delivered in a stylish Soda-lime glass bottle, with cork lid OR a recyclable paper bag - Your choice - The bottle is protected in a sustainable cardboard gift box, designed and produced in Sweden. The paper bag is recyclable in the cardboard bin. Both bottle and bag holds the same amount of rock salt.

THE 85/15 SALT & PEPPER BLEND

85% HIMLAYAN ROCK SALT
The grand old lady of salts. Ideal for meat, fish and veggies. It is a natural rock salt that was created when the prehistoric oceans evaporated some 250 million years ago. The actual salt rocks vary in color, from pure white to beautiful light pink and deep red, all depending on their iron oxide content.

15% JAVA LONG PEPER
This pepper has its own distinctive character, but the familiar taste of traditional black pepper is also present. When seasoning your dish with this blend you will detect unexpected aromas of licorice, aniseed, and cinnamon, with a spicy sensation towards the end. Black pepper with a twist!
